![]() I had one other bidder that seen the gun's potential and bid at end but I ended up winning auction at $735. In the 60's Colt went back to wooden grips so the are few different looks to the 3rd series guns. I think the 3rd series are the bargains still out there. ![]() There were many changes made throughout the years and the match target 1st and 2nd series with wooden grips is usually the sought after models and the high prices of them reflect this. This gun is completely original with black plastic grips, original box and instruction sheet. In 19 the rear Accro sightblade had a rounded front to it, after 1956 the blade had a squared off shape to front of blade. My gun is a 3rd series version made in 1956. I am a master at seeing potential in pictures. The reason I believe there were no bidders was because seller never bothered to clean the gun for pictures. ![]() Mine was advertised by seller for starting reserve of $700. This is proof there are still good deals out there online to be found. I am sure there has been many threads on this model gun here but I just had to come have another discussion and show off mine that I just got off Gunbroker. ![]()
